What makes the game top-tier is how the world and story evolve as you play. Little things, like stumbling on a girl locked in an outhouse by her family, come full circle—by the epilogue, she’s a skeleton. The attention to detail is insane. Plus, the historical setting adds so much depth.

There’s just so much variety that it never feels repetitive, and every activity, no matter how small, feels like it adds something meaningful to the world.
